Writes the President re the 13th annual convention of this assosiation, which will be held Oct. 29th thru the Sist at Reidsville,NeC. The Conferense Theme is "United for Poace and Security". Asics for message from the Hassott, Oot. 7th, by namo. referred tida to Mr. Niles for President, Oct. 22nd, wote to Mrs. Hill asking that his greetinga be extended to all attending the convention. Said he notod that this convention is opening on the 29th of Oct. and on this anne date one year ago, the Civil Rights Comuttee submitted its memorable report. Said he had stated then that he hoped his fellow Americans would rond and study this report with great care. Said in the year passed that millions of Americans have done just that and it has had a very signifient effect on their thinking. There has never been a year when as much attention w as paid to this great problom. Thinks this is the wy it should be, and he knoms that this interest is going to continue and will grow, until evontuali ly we have that change in the ninds and hearts of men which is the true basis of hunan freedon.
