MEMORANDUM FOR MR. CONNELLY:
II Dr. Van Hecke, Chairman of the
President's Commission on Migratory Labor,
phoned to request that the appointment
with the President for the Commission at
3:15 on Thursday, March first, be cancel-
ed. He asked me to explain that they
will not be ready with the report until
two or three days later and they do not
feel justified in taking up the Presi-
dent's time just now.
