Hon. Donald S. Dawson,
Administrative Assistant to the President,
The White House.
Dear Mr. Dawson:
I have your memorandum of December 3, 1948 transmitting a
copy of a telegram addressed to the President by Mr. Frank H. Barnes,
an employee of the Santa Monica, California post office, who was
suspended from his position under the provisions of the Federal
Employees Loyalty Program. The favorable determination of the
Departmental Loyalty Board in this case has been post audited
x2-E
by the Loyalty Review Board and found to be in accordance with
the directives of that Board.
The notification of the approval of the departmental board's
action was received today.
Sincerely yours,
Postmaster General
