Dear Sir:
The moment has at last arrived when the
integrity, honesty, and pledged word of the U.S.is
being put to the test. Every President since
Woodrow Wilson has publicly urged setting up Palestine
as the Jewish Homeland. Congress has twice passed a
resolution almost unanimously affirming this feeling
among Americans. The U.N. Commission in its report
endorsed this objective and the Assembly is now discuss-
ing it. All decent and humane Americans are very uneasy
over reports of the dilatory and evasive actions of the
U.S. delegates.
We urge upon you that you do everything possible
to see that is rendered to the long suffering Jewish
victims of world oppression and that the U.S. carry out its
pledged word to the Jews and to the world at large.
