The President
the white house
Dear Mr. President:
The enclosed was placed on my desk
in a Government office by Government Employe's
on Government time.
It appears rather ludricious to this
one American that the very people for whom you
Vetoed two pieces of legislation during this
week, cannot be made to do your bidding and to
at least avoid you the embarrasements you suffer
at their hands.
Your correspondent has recently severed
employment with the Federal Public Housing Auth-
ority, one of the many agencies of the Government
Many
people
which contains your Order would quite properly
eliminate but will not if you persist in your
present ill-advised course.
MARATHON NATIONAL TRUMAR DEPARTMENT
Yours.
