5 riles 5-1-52 4/7 CHARLES H. DYSON 24 TOMPKINS ROAD 10 SCARSDALE, NEW YORK we brath, morris, April 4, 1952 mcprovery D The Honorable Harry S. Truman The White House Washington 25, D. C. My dear President Truman: The unreasonable dismissal of Mr. Morris leaves me, as one of the supporters of the candidates of the Democratic Party for the last several terms, with a firm conviction that the Administration does not want a fair and impartial investigation of the evident corruptive practices which exist in various parts of our Government. These practices have been such that the standards of thinking in the country gradually have been lowered. When Mr. Morris was appointed, you indicated that he would have your complete support in his important task. If this statement was correct, why not put him back on the assignment as a special assistant to you to do the job required. Most sincerely yours, Charles H. alysor Charles H.
