n HENRY ROSEN, D.D.S. 240 stockton STREET 7 SAN FRANCISCO October 25, 1947 Harry F. Truman, 320-B Presedent of the United States Washington, D. C. Sir: Con-R No sane American should be envious of the man in the White House. No man living today has greater problems to solve than you. With all your troubles, your trials, your annoyances, I call upon you to PUT AN END TO THE THOMAS-RANKIN UNAMERICAN COMMITTEE. It is no longer'a joke. It is no longer a circus. This, sir, is Fascism in action. You need not read about it in books. You have it in your front yard. This sort of government is an importation from Hitler's Germany. Do we need a swastika to fly from the dome of the Capitol to complete the picture? Mr. President, this is an American talking. I fear for my liberties. I fear for my freedom. I FEAR FOR EVERYTHING AMERICAN STANDS FOR. You must alleviate this fear; you must do away with the Thomas-Ranking committe now investigating Hollywood. Citizens of a free America, Henry Rosen, D.D.S. Florence M. Rosen
