Dear Mr. President:
THE the
Congratulations on the fine administration you are giving the
country. You are doing all right.
As a citizen and over 40 years a member of Tuscon Lodge in St.
Louis I am deeply interested and a bit disturbed over the in
roads the Catholic Church is making in the country. The present
episode between the Cardinal and Mrs Roosevelt indicates better
than words from me.
The thought in the Senate and House to give to the individual states
some 33 million dollads to be distributed to all schools is a step
that will lead to Catholic Control as sure as you are in Blair
House.
During my residence in St. Louis they, the Catholic's, eliminated
the Bible out of the Public Schools. They aliev gotten themselves
in to School Boards, in City Councils, and into the Courts. They
work from the inside. They too have instructions for their mem-
