My dear Patsy:
Your letter has been received and I
regret very much that we cannot meet your wishes
for a signed photograph of the President. He is
x *72-7
so busy with the many urgent official duties which
confront him that it is impossible for him to com-
ply with requests of this kind. I know that you
will understand.
Very sincerely yours,
MATTHEW J. CONNELLY
Secretary to the President
Patsy Wiley, X
Forest Hill School,
Lynchburg,
Virginia.
