My dear Mr. Kiernan:
The President has received your letter and
it pleased him to know that you and your family were
his television guests on the tour of the White House
last Saturday afternoon. He hopes you will very much
enjoy your trip to Washington and that this show will
indeed add to your pleasure in going through the Ex-
ecutive Mansion. For your information, it is open to
the public from 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon, Tuesdays
through Saturdays except on holidays, and the entrance
is on East Executive Avenue. Guards will be on duty
to guide and direct you.
The President deeply appreciates the good
wishes you so thoughtfully extend to him and his family
and heartily reciprocates them.
Very sincerely yours,
HARRY NATIONAL TRUMAN
