My dear Mrs. Mills:
The President has read your letter with
great pleasure. It is exceptionally gratifying to
him that you found satisfaction and interest in the
television tour of the White House personally con-
ducted by him on May third, and he wishes me to
thank you for writing.
The President also wants you to know how
grateful he is for your kind words of commendation
of his leadership. Although he has decided not to
accept a renomination, you may be sure that he ap-
preciates the confidence you express.
