Please accept this belated expression
of thanks for your letter of May twelfth. I -am
sorry that no reference was made to it in my
note of June sixteenth but it had become detached.
I have been glad to also bring your letter to the
President's attention and he wants you to know of
his appreciation of the thoughtful good wishes
you extend. He is especially glad to learn that
you and your family enjoyed the television tour
of the White House.
