Dear Mr. Cervase:
The President's Committee on Civil Rights
dissolved itself following the completion of its
report to the President, so that I am not able to
supply you with the material upon which their
recommendations were based.
The best source of help I can think of
in connection with your proposal for the State of
New Jersey would be one of the several private
organizations interested in this area. Among them
are the Commission on Law and Social Action of the
American Jewish Congress, the American Council on
Race Relations, and the Julius Rosenwald Fund,
Chicago, Illinois.
