Dear Dr. Robinson:
I have your letter of November 2011, addressed to the
President's Committee on Civil Ri ghts.
I appreciate very much your sending on this information
and the material, which I read with great interest. I am enclosing
for your information a copy of the President's statement, issued in
connection with the receipt of the report of the President's
Committee on Civil Rights, and a copy of the address of the President,
which he gave at the Lincoln Memorial before the national meeting
of the NAACP last June.
I am sure that from the reading of these two statements
you will gain a feeling of his personal convictions about
discrimination.
Cordially,
DAVID K. NILES
Administrative Assistant
