Dear Mrs. Weinstein:
The President is very much opposed to
discrimination of any kind and believes strongly
in equal rights and opportunities for everyone.
Because of his deep interest in this
problem, he created a Committee on Civil Rights
and I am sending you a copy of his order
creating that Committee, so that you will know
how he feels.
Cordially,
DAVID K. NILES
Administrative Assistant
to the President
Mrs. Rose Weinstein,
2 Seaman Avenue,
New York 34, New York.
