States it imn't austomary for the Premident to give letters of introduc- tion to anyone on foreign travel but he vill inform the Sec. of State and he will have the Ambassadors and Consuls abroad alerted to show him every courtesy. States he will be looking forvard to a visit with him at Springfield. Adds P.S. stating he is sorry to hear of Judge Albert A. Ridge's heart attack. Hopes it is not serious. Memo for Mr. William J. Nowilliamt Director, Executive Secretariat, Department of State, from Rose A. Convay dated €/7/52, re the President's reply to the request for Judge Terte. Requests that the President's wishes in the matter are carried out. Nemo for Miss Rose A. Convay from Mr. NeVilliams dated 6/10/52, stating messages have been sent to our missions in London and Paris, informing them of Judge Terte's proposed visit as requested in her nemo. Is confident these posts vill extend every possible courtesy to Judge Terte. -Letter to Hon. Ben Terte, Presiding Judge Circuit Court of Jackeon County, Kansas Gity, Kansas, dated 6/11/52 from Miss Convay, stating when the Pres. learned through Mr. Jacobson of his forthcoming trip abroad, he prompt- ly informed the Sed. of State and asked that he inform our Ambassadors in London and Paris.
