I deeply appreciate the kind senti-
monts conveyed to me by your letter of con-
gratulations on the occasion of my Inauguration.
Indeed, it 1s fine to be assured of loyalty and
cooperation as I go forward with the tasks en-
trusted to me.
Many, many thanics to you and your
associates for your gracious act of friendliness
in sending me such a lovely souvenir to remind
me of that very special day. This clock will
