LIBERTY MEMORIAL ASSOCIATION of ARTHUR c. WAHLSTEDT, PRESIDENT JOZACH MILLER III, TREASURER ROBERT L. MEHORNAY, FIRST VICE PRESIDENT ROBERT B. HANDY, JR., SECOND VICE PRESIDENT LOWELL R. JOHNSON FRED L. HILDEBRAND, THIRD VICE PRESIDENT FRED L. HILDEBRAND JOS. w. McQUEEN JAMES B. NOURSE, SECRETARY COMMISSIONERS KANSAS CITY 6, MISSOURI P.P.F. June 25, 1951 4690 To the Trustees of the Liberty Memorial Association: The President Superintendent E. E. Bartlett, associated with the Memorial from the construction of the same, has passed away. There is a thought that we might well do two things in the interest of the memorial: 1. Upon occasion, and as you have the oppor- tunity will you visit the Memorial and spend some time there just visiting and talking with visitors? We find that a great number of younger people, many of them either in Service or about to go to the Service, come to the Memorial and they really enjoy having some of the exhibits explained to them, or some of the history related to them. 2. We find that the cataloging of the exhibits should be brought to date. We have been working over one at the Memorial and one at the secretary's office, and it has been suggested that possibly some of the Trustees would be willing to give several hours of time in taking the catalogs and check- ing them back wi th the exhibits to see that they are brought up to date. It has been suggested that at our Annual Meeting this fall we might determine as to a permanent cataloging, Yours truly, ARTHUR C. WAHLSTEDT JAMES B. NOURSE President Secretary
