Letter to the President re Moral Re-Armament. Thinks it is fortunate that
Dr.
Frank Buchman, founder of Moral Re-Armament, will be in San Francisco with key
leaders of Moral Re-Armament at the time of the Japanese Peace Conference. Foels the
President should keep Frank Buchman in mind at the Peace Conference and make it
possible
for him to be in touch with the men responsible. for the basic principles of the peace.
Writer says he is grateful the President's letter indicating that he would
like
to
attend the Wake Forest ground-breaking ceremonies at Winston-Salem on October 15. Sends
the Prosident an advance copy of the book, "The World Rebuilt". 8/23/51 the President
wrote (Dear Dongressman Deane) expressing appreciation for his letter and the book. -
