TRUMAN, Mrs. Ralph E P.P. P (Mrs. Olive L. Truman) Kansas City, Mo., 4320 Aug. 9, 1945. Writes the President a commendatory letter re the fine speech he made on Aug. 9th and also commends him on the way in which he handled the Potsdam Conference, Refers to her husband being in Kentucky and that she has received a letter with many pictures from Louis Truman. Took the pictures out to show the President's Mother and Sister. The President, Aug. 13th,wrote Mrs. Truman saying that he rappreciated her letter and that he had a fine visit with Louis and that Louis had a good Division. The President said he was glad to hear that Mary Jane and the folks were all right. SEE P.P.F. 1770 AS
