Dear lr. Donaldson:
Please accept my congratulations and my
x
a
hearty good wishes on the occasion of the DADE
COUNTY ADVOCATE'S seventy-fifth anniversary. As
I have often said, the importance of the rural press
is too often overlooked in appraisals of the journal-
ism of our country. The time will never come, I am
sure, when people will not want to read the home-
town paper with its intinate chronicle of the day by
day doings of their friends and neighbors.
The Advocate has a fine record of service
belind it, and I am sure that under the guidance of
you and your brother it will be an even better news-
paper in the future.
with my regards and best wishes, I an
Very sincerely yours,
Sgd) HARRY S. TRUMAN
