prints of the President, Mrs. Truman, Miss Truman and Their Royal Highnesses, taken at
the time of their visit to Washington. --- On 12/13/51, Mr. Short wrote The Right Hon.
Sir Oliver S. Franks (ly dear Mr. Ambassador) enclosing color photographs taken at the
Canadian Embassy at the time of the visit of Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.
--- Ltr to the Hon. Thume Wrong, Ambassador of Canada, from Mr. Short, 12/13/51, enclosing
color photographs. --- On 12/14/51, Mr. Short wrote the Hon. John F. Simmons (Pear Jack)
transmitting color photographs and letters written by the President, 12/13/51, to Their
Majesties, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and Their Royal Highnesses The Princess
Elisabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh, and The Duke of Edinburgh, with the request that the
photographs and the letters which accompany them be forwarded. States he has sent copies
of these photographs direct to the British and Canadian Ambassadors. --- Note: Mr. Malone
was notified by phone that the photographs he requested were sent direct to Mr. Wrong.
