January 3, 1952 Dear Rabbi Gourary: The inspiring thing about educational activities is that the work is continuous. One generation succeeds another and each presents a full quota of youths who must be trained in the art of living and disciplined for their future as citizens. The President has heard with great in- terest about plans to hold the Twelfth Annual Dinner for the United Lubavitcher Yeshivoth and sends hearty greetings to all who attend. He hopes the event will be a happy milestone in the lives of all and that they will continue unwearied in their labors to advance the cause of true educa- tion. Very sincerely yours, WILLIAM D. HASSETT Secretary to the President Rabbi S. Gourary, Chairman, Executive Committee, Twelfth Annual Dinner, United Lubavitcher Yeshivoth, Redford Avenue corner Dean Street, Brooklyn 16, New York. wdh:rr
