The Honorable Harry S Truman,
President of the United States
washington.D.C.
Dear Mr. President,
Your recent speech on race hate as we noticed it
carried in the Delat Democrat Times of Greenville Miss.
meets our whole approval.
We trust that you can find an honorable way to
accomplish your purpose with action effective here in
the South.
We honestly in our mind aggee with you but we
are sure that you must spend about a dollar a head
in education in racial tolerance to have the idea go
over.
Congress can appropaiate this money as a special
fund for that purpose in a mighty of propaganda of war
for racial tolerance and demoracy in our U.S.A. I am a
Southern Farmer and I can sorty see and feel a change
but we need democracy glorified for it to stick thru
our daily life as we live it here.
Yours Sincerely,
Grover C Dobbs
