Telegram to the President: Refers to the President's address bo the National Association
for the Advancement of Colored People, requesting that he implement the noble sentiments
he expressed, the rights he defined by appointing a Negro to the now and enlarged
National Labor Relations Board under the Taft-Hartley Act. Feels that a Negro on the
Board would be impelled to act to see that the provisions for no racial restrictive
devises, etc. are enforced.-Peferred to Mr. Niles, 7/7/47.
