ROBERT CONDON, Ass't Minister
MAURICE GRAVES, Treasurer
January 16, 1951
Honourable President of the U. S.
file WoH 3-1-51
Washington, D. C.
Dear Sir:
It is with regret that I noted the enclosed picture from "Life"
January 8, 1951. Especially shocking was the revealed fact that
in order for you to have your beer it was necessary to break the
liquor law of Kansas City. It seems that in a day of such world
crisis as well as national concern for an outbreak of criminal
lawlessness accross the country that a more fitting example from
the nation's leader would be not only expected but that the feeling
of such responsibility would guide you in your actions, statements,
and public life.
Trusting that the prayers of God's people may direct you and other
national leaders to look to Him for guidance in these dark days.
Yours for a Christian Nation,
