L July 18, 1963 Dear Max: I more than appreciated yours of June 30th, with the various questions which had been given to the passengers on the ship on which you went to Europe. Most of those questions are catch questions. Very few of them had much to do with the history of the Presidency. I had some difficulty in answering most of them and I have an idea that it would be much better if questions were asked on the policy of the Presidents rather than the insignificant things contained in these questions.
