esting the enclosed despatch concerning the visit to
Brazil of Secretary Snyder.
I can assure you that it was an unqualified suc-
cess and that the Secretary made an invaluable con-
tribution toward the strengthening of friendly
relations between the United States and Brazil,
without any commitments on his part.
