My dear Mr. President:
For the first time in its history the annual conference
of the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers (which
you addressed last year in Washington) will be held in
Kansas City, December 5th, 6th and 7th, 1949. The Executive
Committee, through its President, Mr. Alexander Brown, has
extended, or will extend, an invitation to Attorney General
McGrath to address this meeting I feel that it is highly
important that the viewpoint of the present administration
should be presented to this distinguished group of lawyers
by the chief law officer of our government and an able
spokesman of this administration.
May I enlist your aid in urging Attorney General McGrath
to accept this invitation?
