THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON June 20, 1952 to ARCHWES 'MATIONAS RECORDS AMD SERVICE* MEMORANDUM There have been close to 11,000 telegrams, letters and cards received urging the President to veto the so-called McCarran Immigration Bill. Approximately 500 pieces of correspondence have been received in support of the Bill.
