NIACT 892, December 21, 8 p.m.
PRIORITY
While I am unaware of all considerations behind
Department's espousal of strong resolution in SC in
respect Netherlands action in Indonesia (DEPTEL 652,
December 20) I feel I must state my conviction that
Netherlands are irretrievably committed to present
course of action. I also feel there is strong possi-
bility that SC action will be overtaken by events.
In both connections, may I urge careful consideration
of contents EMBTEL 890, December 21.
