DE Gaulle this morning referred to the stand taken by
the United States and British Governments yesterday in re-
gard to the arrest of the fiftEEn Polish leaders and said
that he highly approved our stand. HE agai n expressed
alarm OVER the Russian attitude and asked when and where they
WETE going to stop. HE said "you are the only ones that can
do anything about it. You have the cards as they are hoping
to obtain so many things from you".
