RECEIVED
My dear Mr. President:
Thank you for your gracious letter of March 28th,
in which you enclosed copy of your letter to Senator
McKellar. I am relieved to hear that you are resign-
ed to the architectural design of the front of the
White House, as I feel any change suggested at this
time would only cause a considerable amount of criticism.
I congratulate you on your recent decision,
and I am sure that the majority of the people through-
out the country realize that you have done your duty.
What more could any country look for than an honest
and conscientious President!
My best wishes to you in whatever future en-
deavor you elect to undertake.
With kind personal regards,
TROMAR
