MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
The enclosed report on "The Position of the
United States with Respect to Korea" (NSC 8) has been
adopted by the National Security Council at its 9th
meeting.
The National Security Council recommends that you
approve the conclusions contained therein and direct that
they be implemented by all appropriate Executive Depart-
ments and Agencies of the U.S. Government under the co-
ordination of the Secretary of State.
