Noted the proposed Senate Resolution unanimously
approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Com-
mittee, as read at the meeting by the Under
Secretary of State.
b.
Approved in principle the general line of action
subsequent to the Resolution as outlined in
NSC 9/2, subject to the understanding that it
will be reviewed after receipt of the report by
the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and in
the light of the comments by the Joint Chiefs of
Staff.
