MEMORANDUM FOR THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL
SUBJECT:
The Position of the United States with Respect
to Communism in Italy
REFERENCES: A. NSC 67/1
B. NSC Action No. 290
C. NSC 1/2 and and NSC 1/3
The President has this date approved the Conclusions
contained in the reference report on the subject and directs their
implementation by all appropriate executive departments and agencies
of the U. S. Government under the coordination of the Secretary of
State.
As indicated therein, NSC 67/1 accordingly supersedes
NSC 1/2 and NSC 1/3.
