Philosophy of Jefferson could be presented in such a. manner a.s to demonstrate that it furnishes the fundamental basis for our foreign policy. 2. Discussion of our present foreign policy and the tremendous responsibility that rests upon this country. 3. In order to fulfill the responsibility placed upon us, we must remain strong. 4. We must be strong militarily by maintaining powerful armed forces to demonstrate to the world that we are serious in fulfilling our responsibility. a. Universal Military Training will maintain and increase our strength. b. Unification of the services will provide more efficiency and economy. 5. We must also maintain a strong domestic economy. a. Comment on great prosperity which exists today. Highest national income, highest farm income and highest corporate profits after taxes, in our history. b. Every individual makes his contribution to the strength of our economy. C. The soundness and strength of our national economy is merely the total of the soundness and strength of the economy of individual Americans.
