The problem is twofold:
RECORDS
SERVICE
(1) to determine what further steps should be taken
to implement complstely the Potsdam Agreement
with respect to the disarmament and demilitarization
of Germany; and
(2) to determine what further action to take with rge
spect to the draft treaty for the disarnament and
demilitarization of Germany, submitted by the US to
the CFM on April 29, 1946. This involves a decision
as to whother to (a) withdraw the draft treaty,
(b) submit it again to the CFI substantially in its
original form, or (e) submit a revised version of the
draft for consideration by the CFM.
