accept centative agreement enclosed my despatch 961, Dec 4,
1947 (see also EMBTET, 1094, Dec 5).
second paragraph tentative agreement should
read a. follows to conform US laws:
"However, the Swedish Government, because of the current
dollar stringency, will be compelled to restrict seriously
the importation of American motion pictures unleas the
companies submit to the stipulations set forth below.
Compelled to choose between these alternatives, the
companies accordingly submit to the following stipulations
