Fresident renuests you deliver folloving message
to Attlee in reply to latter's telegram regerde
Inc Palestine received through a.B on May 27:
UCTE Thank you for sending the list of the
subjects which your GCVT would like to have discuased
by the experts of the two GOVTS in connection with the
Palestine renort. Our feeling is that the matter is
one which will renuire a rather extensive exchange of
views and we have certain plans for the setting uo of a
soecial group to hondle this and related restions
arising out of the renort. tie are proceeding to orgenize
this group EB guickly as we can and in the meantime we
have turned your list over to the various experts in the
State and "ar DEPTS with the request that they give it
their immediate attention.
'e are hopeful that membera of the group of experts
will be able to proceed to London as soon as possible
as sumgested by Nr. Bevin. As we doubt hovever that
our plans will be sufficiently advanced for our
