On Our Attitude toward Britain United States is trying to destroy Britain, colonialism and the Commonwealth. United States treats England like a "poor relation. " Foreign troops are based "within our shores. " England's dependence on the United States is degrading. Anglo-American Alliance is crumbling. ARCHIVES "MATIONAL SERVICE' RECORDS AKO On Our China Policy to economics Britain suffers from U.S. policy on China. This policy has been a failure. U.S. policy toward Formosa is wrong, as evidenced by riots. Formosa should be restored to China. On Our Middle East Policy United States betrayed Britain in the Suez situation. The U.S. treatment of the Middle East situation is wrong. The general tone and depths of critical feeling are shown by a few typical comments. One correspondent said, "It does, of course, stick in our gullet that this view (U.S. attitude toward colonialism) should be expressed by a people facing a filibuster on Negro rights about a people who spread the gospel of freedom in India, Pakistan, Ghana, etc."
