Mr. Summerlin assumes there will
be no objection to this at the reception
this afternoon.
They have just received from Chile
the instrument of the ratification of the
United Nations Charter, and the President of
Chile will hand it to the President, who will
hand it to the Secretary of State.
I told Mr. Summerlin that unless he
heard to the contrary, to bring it along.
