Hy dear Mr. Bowers:
I appreciated most highly your letters
of November twolfth.
I am very happy that Admiral Leahy was
helpful in the inaugural ceremonies. He
came baek with a glowing account of his
reception and of the hospitality and
cordial treatment which you gave him.
I was also happy to receive the letter
from Dr. Alfonso Leng H. of course,
everything we can do to build up the
good feeling of our neighbors is helpful.
Sincerely yours,
3.
