Memorandum for : Honorable Robert A. Lovett

Attached is a report from Mr. Dudley, our
Ambassador to Liberia on Roberts Field.
When he came to see me and make his report
to me just before he left for Liberia I asked
him to take a look at this situation and give me
a report. I wish you would examine this care-
fully. It seems to me that the suggestions which
he makes are well worth serious consideration.
