MEMORANDUM FOR MR. HOPKINS, THE WHITE HOUSE
There are attached three copies of the briefing book
prepared in the Department of State on the visit of President
Auriol, for the information and use of the President and
other members of the White House Staff who may wish to
have copies.
The paper on Middle East Defense, not included in the
present book, will be forwarded to the President as soon
as it has been cleared within the Executive Branch.
