Personal Confidential
Dear Mr. Justice:
I read your letter of January tenth and
the enclosures with a lot of interest
and also with a lot of satisfaction.
Your suggestions suit me exactly. I am
exceedingly anxious that your program
be followed through to the anticipated
successful conclusion. You have done a
magnificent job and I don't want to take
any chance of ruining it now.
I think your suggestion, which seems to
be entirely agreeable to Justice Stone,
is the proper way to handle the situation.
You have my whole-hearted and complete
support.
Sincerely yours,
HARRY S. TRUMAN
