MEMORANDUM FOR MR. CONNELLY:
There seems to be quite a discussion
on the so-called Melmedy war crimes cases (first
of which is Sergeant Tank Commander Bersin of the
First SS Panser Regiment) and attached are tiro
letters to the President from the Secretary of the
Army along with telegrem received from Senator Hoey
all of which Mr. Hopkins feals should be called to
the President's attention.
