MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT:
Mr. John Carroll wants the President to know
that he has learned from the Speaker that they hope
to begin voting on the Defense Production Bill Amend-
ments late Friday afternoon. He doesn't know how long
this will continue but the Speaker advises him they
will try to get roll call votes on all important
amendments.
