MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT:
At the ceremony in the Rose Garden at noon,
I suggest that Mrs. Truman take position at the point
nearest the point at which you go up on the stand and
that you take position next to her. The Princess
will be on your left and the Duke on the left then
ZOTT
of the Princess.
Mr. Simmons, Chief of Protocol, will step up
on the platform momentarily to introduce the Princess
and then will retire.
