By NITHE MANS Derke. 6.30.75 MEMORANDUM FOS THE PRESIDENT Proposed Note to the Groek Government to be telegraphed to Ambassador MacVeagh for presentation on November 10, you indieated your general con- currence that a note be aent to the Oreek Government setting forth the viewa of this Government on the pre- sent disturbed economic situation in Gresce. In acocr- dance with your suggestion, the draft of the proposed note is submitted herewith for your approval. Both Ambassador MecVeagh and the British have indicated their agreement in principle with the proposed action. With your approval, the note will be submitted to the Greck Government at onoe and at the same time released to the press. If the Groek Government ahould then request the assistance of a fow technical exports from the United States, I understand that funds for thia purpose will be available from your emergeney fund.
